My GTS is gone
tom_loughlin - 29/8/07 at 05:34 PM

On Saturday, I got rid of my GTS - a very say day for me, as it had become a pretty big part of my life (yes... I know it's sad!)
But on the bright side I picked up a 1996 TVR Chimaera.
It was a straight swap, so no hjaggling points.
I drove 220 miles to meet the guy halfway...the car itself drove without a hitch 440miles on saturday - which I was most impressed with!
Has to fill the tank up 7 times, but was glad of the break.
Anyway, here's a nice parting pic....and bring on the next build!

I saw these in a motor bike dealers in Chester. £29.00 each. Very solidly made. Excellent heavy chrome plate.
Don't know if SVA friendly but after, who cares.
Just can't for the life of me remember the make.
So, come on Tom, do tell all. No secrets here.

Pat...

They can't be the same ones (I hope) I had them imported from america by a company called custom wizard - £129 each!
Not 'road legal', as they dip the wrong way, and have no sidelghts.
Look awesome though!
My secret is out
