mine currently has the open foam pipercross filter attached directly to the intake within the bonnet

im after an aluminium type box with some sort of internal filter as im not keen on the current setup

anyone know how i can get one or am i really just gonna have to try and make one myself?

If you decide to sell your existing filter then let me know!

make one, its a good feeling

Make one in Carbon Fibre - it's an even better feeling!!!

Then again, I am biased!

Carbon fibre would be nice!

Think even an aluminium one would be a test for me, but if I can find anything suitable I'll have a go (or ask someone I know who might be able to help out!!)

Start by making one out of plywood (1/8" should be fine) then, after learning lots of how-to's, have a go in either Aluminium, GRP or Carbon Fibre.

It really is a good feeling - making stuff.

under the bonnet with that heat etc, would an alloy airbox be a good idea,

wonder how warm it could get??

warm air is bad

I bought a Pipercross airbox @ Demon-tweeks.
There is a filter inside and I put a hose out in front af the radiator.
I guess there is 10-15 bhp more now.
A much revier engine.
