What about a complete 1700 engine/Type 9 gearbox with twin Weber 40s? I'm hoping to have mine out of the car this weekend, but I'm
probably keeping the alternator. The Type 9 isn't definitely for sale yet because I want to check the new gearbox fits first.
Probably not what you're after at all, but it's worth a go.
Thanks for the offer but just after the parts listed at the mo.
Cheers
Chris
I've got one of the square Facet pumps sat on a shelf doing nothing - just the pump though I think, no unions etc (I'll check if you're interested) Didn't get used for long as I recall but it worked fine......... dunno £20 posted?
1300 sump is smaller than 1600. The smaller stop catches the crank or something when fitted to the larger engine. No proof but a guess says it would be ok your way round but i'd check the oil pickup pipe isn't sitting in thin air.

Hi
I've got 1300 sump and distributor (other 1300 x flow parts as well in case your list gets longer).
I'll U2U with details.

1300 sump is definately shorter and will not fit a 1600 without a beasting with a hammer.
I have a dizyy in Birmingham.
