Bloody hell Sean. Why you selling so soon?

maskell01 - 19/7/14 at 08:57 PM

Just finished the ebay auction for mine, but its a pinto........

NigeEss - 19/7/14 at 11:36 PM

What are you after ?
Tidy road going, functional track day toy, resto, rebuild.........Budget ??

Greenie - 20/7/14 at 11:56 AM

Road use only, don't want any track days, just weekend driving. Fancy a BEC, but if I can't find one it will have to be a 16v engine. Budget is around 7k ish either way.

matt5964 - 20/7/14 at 03:19 PM

how about something slightly different

Fisher Fury 2l Zetec - 2012

Greenie - 20/7/14 at 03:23 PM

Seen the Tiger and it looks a nice car, would need to tone down the yellow though ha ha , what's your thoughts about Tiger's?

Greenie - 20/7/14 at 03:28 PM

There is seven style Dutton on EBay with a blade engine, looks the business, but rear wing would have to go, what anyone's thoughts on it?

They are not far from me and have had them do work on mine when I first got it, very nice people to deal with and quite a few happy owners round here

agreed with looks a tad over the top if your only goanna drive on the road. we didn't want a BEC as we have come from bikes and did not want to have to be right up the rev range all the time, prefer a good slab of torque (esp for road driving)

daniel mason - 20/7/14 at 04:37 PM

There's a busa powered tiger on eBay which looks a bit of a weapon!

Greenie - 20/7/14 at 04:48 PM

Yeah I have looked at it, it says road registered, asked the question but yet to receive a reply, based in Channel Islands. Looks a weapon as you say!

inkafone - 20/7/14 at 04:50 PM

Arguably better than a Caterham Birkin s3 carbon spec

Found a nice little blue RAW on Pistonheads with a Zetec running on throttle bodies, looks the business, what's people's opinion?

matt5964 - 22/7/14 at 06:11 AM

seems honest and straight with a few nice bits on it, really need to see them n the flesh to get a feel for the finish and overall standard or the car, this will give you an idea of how it have been looked after and used as well.. can also see if they will take you for a run in it to find out if you like that type of kit.
