I would check to make sure these engines have engine numbers stamped, a lot of these new crated zetec engines 1.8/2.0 priced from 400 to 750 pounds have no numbers.

Not that this is a massive problem as you can always find a dead mondeo or focus in the scrappies and copy the number.

Providing you've got the reciept to prove its a new engine, its not a problem. Wasnt when i registered mine anyway.
