Next doors come around (old boy) this morning asking how i was getting on with my car and what engine i was using. I told him i was using a nice little bike engine and not a V8 to save the earth from running out of fuel. Also told him that it would be better for the surounding area to have a BEC instead of a rumbling V8 for the noise level!!!! He said i was very nice to think of the others around here........................

Problem is BEC with micron race can!!!!

LOL. I think im in the SH*T now...

With luck, he's lost all hearing at high frequencies so 15k rpm won't register at all

Agree with this - rev it high enough and he'll never know you're there! (well that will be your excuse anyway!)
My Grandma can't hear anything high pitched at all. The other day my Uncle went to see her and her buglar alarm was going off but she had no idea at all!

Haha I had exactly the same a few weeks back,

Neighbour asks Will you next car be just as loud as you current one (striker 4 pot) because he's looking at the exhaust system that's on the striker.

I said No the next one will have two dampers instead of one... hmmm ok he replied,

I didn't tell him the alloy lump on the stand is a 4 liter twin supercharged V8

just as bad in holland!

whaahaa good going, the micron should keep them alert.
