Hi all,

Starter motor on our Festia (Endura E engine) has started to play up, spins but will not allways engage with the flyweel (complete with the nasty teeth on teeth noise)..

Replaced starter with a recon unit. Still does it.. Any ideas (will take the replacement starter back in case it's also faulty), is this a known issue?

Could be the ring gear that's damaged.

yep probably above or faulty battery connection.
