Sonic7 - 17/1/09 at 06:57 AM

Achieved first engine run today after just 7 weeks into the build, so the next major milestone will be to fit the bodywork and put her on her wheels.

Well done buddy.

I think you need to work on that throttle cable a bit though it looks a bit long

Sorry i was holding the camera and pulling the tempory throttle 'string' at the time !

I know, only pulling your leg.

For my little video, I was also holding the camera and starting it and fiddling with the throttle.

Didn't actually want to appear in any videos right enough.

MEV have 2 models for offer at the moment the Rocket and the Sonic7. I think MEV have sold around 90 Rockets and about 3 or 4 Sonic's. The Sonic only being launched at the September 2008 Stafford Kit Car Show, I think I'm the second customer. Hoping to meet some at Stoneleigh this year.

Thanks for the kind words regarding my website will try and get round to updateing it next week.
