Asked for advice yesterday on GSXR's and went and got this today. its a 99 T reg. fecking love it. Not bad for my first bike lol.
For a first bike, thats pretty major.
My first bike was a 600 bandit and that was quick, but the GSXR needed some experience for the commute, definitely. Take it easy for the first three
months at least.
My first bike was a AR80, then a RD350 and up to Z1000.
Borrowed a Kwaka 100 to do my test
Current bike is a KR250 with a 700cc Supermoto engine
For sale if anyone wants it...
Great stuff - now run out there and take off the double bubble and pillion rail thingy and find a seat cowl!
That looks like one nice bike.
Are the front disks ok they look a bit scored, could be a photo trick??
1st dibs on the throttle bodies
Ive ridden an 04 gixer and loved it and I really want a j2 zx6r, has a bit more leg room ffor my bod ..
Hmm not going to happen this year.
looks good heres a good gsxr forum to join http://www.gixerjunkies.com/forum/index.php
Go easy - things happen very fast on those things
Haha! Great stuff, bet that has some "mumbo" to quote a certain ausie!
It took me a while to get my hea around just how quick one of them was at getting into trouble!
Biggest tip if your planning on racking up some miles on it is, acceleration is only one way to get out of tight spot. It's not always the right
choice.
very nice first bike, take it easy.
Not jealous at all.
Miss my bikes. Last one was reversed into by a tesco van
So have fun but just be careful.
looks a nice one,
hope you enjoy it !

Nice bike - be careful....
As a fellow biker - before you go anywhere - ride to your nearest location of HERE who conduct the best riding
courses and are good value for money.
Advanced Riding is a WOT compared to this, though it would help when you're starting out... dont go anywhere your brain hasn't been three
seconds before!
Steve
OMG this is nice. Renault F1 colors.
Actually both vehicles there are nice.
Have fun and take care.
Really nive bike, but as all others said please take it easy at al times
Brings back good memories of 99 when I had a new WX model. Sold my ZXR750L3 model for it and could not believe how nice and easy it was to change
direction on it, nice and light feel at the front.
I would keep the double bubble screen though as its near impossible to view the clocks otherwise.
One thing to remember about them is that they suffer from carb icing in cold conditions. The simple cure is to block of one of the air intakes at the
front or you can buy a spacer for the fuel tank from Suzuki.
Finally have fun, they are great bikes for learning the craft on without being stupid fast like the larger capacity bikes......

do a track day, you'll learn/ teach yourself more in a day than a whole summer of riding, its well worth it.
Watch out for Volvo drivers!
