My lovely misses has been working for a hotel booking agency for nearly 10 years now, for the last 4 she has been office manager with 4 people working under her.

I have always said to her she should start up her own agency as she is running the place she is at, while her boss sits back and rakes in the cash :censored:

Well she has took the plunge! she left her job (gulp) and started up her own hotel booking agency

Shes been busy over the last few months setting everything up but now everything is ready. i am really very very proud of her for taking the plunge and i just know it will be a success as i know how hard she works and has been working over the last few months to set everything up

Website is looking good. The purple colour concept is quite cool. I would recommend you create good meta tags in your site encoding to attract the right clientel in search engines. Some good generators can be found free online. eg>

she doesn't really deal with holiday packages as she is not abta/atol protected, the flights and hotels are booked separate.
the majority of her business comes from corporate clients manly using hotels and conference venues etc.


meta tags is this like keywords ?

To put it briefly, the meta tag [its like a keyword] is used by search engines to allow them to more accurately list your site in their indexes.
If you simply produce your home page and register the URL with a search engine, or a number of search engines, their spider programmes will (eventually) toddle along to your site to index it.

The email & booking form link (http://www.insightbookingsolutions.co.uk/conferences.html#) is opening 2 forms for me in Firefox 2.

I'd get the page title's changed, at the moment all pages have the title "Home Page".

Other than that, it's nice to see a clear easy to read site that give the information without having to search .

Just a suggestion on layout - I didn't like the text on the purple being squashed over to the left - made me think maybe I was missing something off the frame. Also Telephone and fax numbers look untidy, perhaps
"telephone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Fax yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

ie separate lines for each.

The site looks really interesting. When i travel to China i find it a real pain trying to co-ordinate several flights using at least 3 different airlines. Is this the type of thing she will do for me? The site says the service is free - is that right. Sounds too good to be true.

I have used BTI before for booking business travel and found them very good but at a price (which to be honest isnt huge).

I hope it is a huge success for her. Well done. Im not surprised you are proud.

What sort of thing? Marketing covers a very broad range of info!

the misses wants to get her company out there and doesn't know how to go about it and what it would cost.

Her business is mainly targeted at accommodation / travel for business's

This is her first business venture and she is really unsure of how to get known.
