Amazing, very clever indeed.

But obviously has far too much time on his hands!

David Jenkins - 31/5/07 at 09:56 AM

A set of sculptures that walk along on MANY legs - appear to be wind-powered.

They look vaguely spooky to me!

Hammerhead - 31/5/07 at 09:59 AM

very good........kind of like leonardo da vinci's concepts.

DaveFJ - 31/5/07 at 10:16 AM

That last one is amazing. kinda reminds me of an elephant for some reason.....

Peteff - 31/5/07 at 11:09 AM

How do you stop them? They are amazing though.

To answer your question...probably a bit of both artist and engineer......very cool application of kinematics, but certainly not a "genius" on that work alone..IMO

You don't. Apparently there are a few of them still wandering around the beaches in Scandanavia as I type...

Cheers

Hey DaveFJ, I didn't realise you were a Beery Gesserit!

I'll get my still suit...

SixedUp - 31/5/07 at 06:48 PM

He may not be a genius, but as an artist, he's managing to persuade people to *pay* him to spend his time making those things. Now *that* really is impressive.

I rather like them too

Cheers
Richard
