Are Falken tyres any good, they seem very reasonable pricewise, Its for my Galaxy. they do a 215/55/16 97V Reinforced for about £58.

I used to swear by my FK451's on my MR2, until they replaced them with less grippy, faster wearing FK452's.
Way better than F1's or T1R's in my oppinion.
Not nearly as impressed with the 452's though, so have gone back to F1's
Hi Steve,
I cant comment on the Falkens, however I have had Dunlops, Avons, Continentals and Hankooks on my Galaxy, I havent found a tyre that seems to suit the
car. Hankooks are manufacturer fit on some cars now and there wasnt much difference between them and the Conti's (except price). I wouldnt have
the Dunlops or Avons again.
Will probably order the Michelin extra load tyre next time any need replacing.
Hope that is of some use.
Steve
Depends on which Falken tyre you are talking about? The FK451's as noted above are very good indeed, lasted longer than Pirelli P-Zero
Asymetricos on the back of my MR2 Turbo and gave just as much grip. I heard the 452's were quite as good, but never used them.
The ZE502/ZE512 are definitely worth avoiding though. I put them on the front of the MR2 and it would under steer at the slightest provocation.
Personaly I'm quite happy with Toyo T1Rs I've put on my Civic and the Fiat. Last reasonably well, lots of grip and a good price. They
don't suit all cars though as the sidewalls are fairly soft (even though they are stiffer than the T1S).
