What carbs have you got? You can just buy the dynojet needles on there own for some models.

Mikuni's have adjustment on the height of the needles to weaken / richen the mixture, but the Dynojet kit needles have a different profile to standard.

mine are zx9r b carbs. early ones without the tps. Will Mikuni needles fit keihln's??

im not sure how interchangable needles are between different carbs with different length's, taper's etc, what issue are you trying to resolve lean/rich mid range?
also cant see specific benefits of a Dynojet kit needles on a motorbike carbs/car application apart from if they have adjustable clip positions (where standards dont) as they are designed for the orignal bike applications which wouldnt be applicable to car

You can raise or lower the needles and you can buy different needle profiles/tapers but you need to rolling road to set them properly.
Atspeed in Rayleigh will profile the needles for you when they set you up on a rolling road

ZX7r needles is what you want, think I may have some in the garage, will check tomorrow. I also have a set of std ZX6r carbs, std including the airbox which are up for sale if anyone wants them, was going to fit them to a Polo 1300, but sold the car.

My R1's have adjustable needles.

I read the article in PPC about Atspeed. Given that they just appear to file the needles down I would be a bit worried about their ability to do this uniformly so all the needles are exactly the same.

I think its rich midrange. Definatley not right.

Going to get in on a dyno but want to get it somewhere nearer first.
