i need a few (cheap) parts for a pinto, where can i get them?
cheers

omega0684 - 29/6/10 at 03:11 AM

What do you need?

snapper - 29/6/10 at 04:08 AM

Put a list of what you need.
Anything you can get on here will be cheaper than eBay

I have a 1.8 pinto. Completely bog standard. Yours for £20 if you collect it (i have forklift too).

Comes with homemade short sump

Not sure if it's what you're after....

Dan

EDIT: was running fine until replaced over winter with zetec.

I have a 2 litre. Not used for years and probably does not turn over but good for spares. Free to anyone who wants it

since you in this part of the world - if you need new bearings etc. then try Alec at engine services
he won't be quite as cheap as some of the online places, but he will have most of it on the shelf (he still builds alot of pinto's for the stock car boys)

snazzy, thanks for that,
im after a cam cover, oil filler cap and dip stick, shortened sump, pulley wheel
Its got single choke webers on, but theyre missing some links and things.
thats after first inspection, there may well be more to come

I might have a spare cam cover and dip stick - will have to check later in the week

should have a filler cap somewhere if I can find it...

I've got at least one sump with a bit of rot in the bottom - if you want to do a DIY on (engine services will do short ones - but I'm guessing they won't be as cheap you'd like)

pulley wheel - which one do you mean ?
(I've got some of them spare but not all)

and I'm just down the road, so no postage (trust me this is important with pinto bits ! )
