Mx 5 advice
Hi I am currently fitting a mx5 1800nb engine and box into my mk, I am then using a ford diff so I have 2 questions really
1, is there an adapter plate to take the mc prop to ford diff
2, shortened sump, does anyone have one as I can and the engine to sit as low as possible
Thanks

I believe that it is normally advised to have a propshaft made for your application.
I think the cost is normally £200 ish

I had an MX5 prop from my donor so sent it to (I think) Bailey Morris who cut it down, installed a sierra coupling and balanced it before returning,
cost was £115. The important dimension for them is the distance from the very rear of the gearbox to the front face of the sierra diff flange, 650mm
on mine if I remember correctly
