Ok people - 1000 to 1500 is now 2000 to 2500......................
So what do I start looking at now the goal posts have hiccuped ever so slightly?

Really, REALLY big curve ball, but does it have to be fwd?
If not, how about an old Nissan Silvia? Such as a 200sx, which is both fast, and easily tuneable.
Admittedly though, i have no idea about the fuel economy/insurance.
Or, If you don't mind a bit of a project, an old Volvo 360 with a b230ft engine? Fast, small and chuckable?
And Wow i don't do much on here...
