Blocking Radiator Vent

I want to block the rad vent on the top of my Polo rad and use the vent on top of the zetec thermostat housing instead.

Whats the best stuff to use? There's not enough room between it and the nose cone to put a rubber pipe and blank on it.

Steve

I fitted the original black rubber blank off a pinto thermostat housing.

It secures with a jubilee clip and doesn't leak. The rubber end cap cost about 80p.
