Yep I'm still in work mate!
I don't know her so couldn't even make a suggestion.. to cover the full spectrum of womens personality traits I suggest the best of
Enrique Englasas CD and a sexy santa outfit.

Films, absolutely no point, she has 1000's of DVD's (no joke).
She loves cars and would like an Exige, except that I'm £25k short and the Lotus garage is shut.
Was going to get her a flying lesson, but with work being so busy, I forgot to book it.
I'm sure our Hoover is bust, that may not go down well though and it may not be, if you know what I mean.
Dead man walking sums it up.

You mean she's not dropped any hints? You might be in the kacky mate.....
Has she got a sister? They're always good for a last minute call for ideas (if you can summon the courage to admit to her that you still
haven't done it!!)
Good luck, let us know how it goes - title your post (not) sleeping on the sofa......

No ! Never !
I can't believe you haven't shifted that chair.
Maybe we should raffle it off at Stoneleigh for charity.
Winning ticket can set fire to it or smash it to bits

don't worry, there is an emergency procedure for these situations which has already been alluded to:
Decide what you're going to buy her (make it something reasonably snazzy, like the flying lesson) then print her off a self made voucher for it

they do a Lotus Exige experience day at Silverstone, not sure of the price or if you're near enough for it to be viable.
could look on the internet though and see if you could book it either there or similar circuit and put the voucher/receipt in a card.
If of course it's within your price range but if you were going to get a flying lesson and you say she loves cars it would be an ideal gift.
hope that helps

She has got a sister, I'll ring her when hell freezes over, which will probably be tomorrow morning

here you go
http://www.treatme.net/experiences/silverstone-lotus-exige
they also do one at Thruxton but more expensive.
Bet most circuits do something similar and if you were to book it over the interent you could print out the details etc and put it in a nice card.
Major Brownie points if she loves the car.
Best of luck with whatever you do

Same idea really - but a Spa day would be good I'm sure (just phone them up and buy a voucher - then put it in a card)....

Thanks, but why do you think she wants an Exige ?
She did the experience day at Silverstone last year.
I need to get into town quickly and walk around aimlessly with all the other 'dead man walking' husbands
Even asked the kids would they put from 'Dad and the kids' on some of theirs, little money suckers refused, they think its funny
