Any diesel engine experts, bit of help needed
Have a late 2006 L200 2.5 turbo diesel, pulling out of a fuel station earlier I noticed some hesitation at high revs.
1st gear it pulls clean to almost the 4.5K redline - I backed off.
2nd gear it starts to hesitate at 4K
3rd gear hesitates at 3.5K.
Deffo didn't put petrol in it, checked the reciept, anyone offer any advice? googling the symptoms seems to suggest fuel filter, but looking for
a bit of impartial expert advice, before going back to the agents with it.
Cheers.
Pete.

Filter first would be the best idea. Happens all the time on our transit vans.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

Try to borrow an OBD reader and see if there are/were any faults pending.

Id try a fuel filter. Newer deisels are prone to these clogginng and will give you alsorts of trouble.
