prop shaft remanufacture

Good afternoon! Who have you guys used to manufacture b*stard propshafts? I (still speculatively) am interested in getting an omega box attached to a sierra LSD. I have a pinto prop already which has the correct end to bolt up to the LSD and I should be able to get hold of the complete omega shaft when i get the gearbox.

Are there companies who would shorten the omega prop and replace the end with the ford flange? What kind of costs am I looking at for this? (Hopefully less than the £350 I was quoted for a fully adjustable custom made item)

I used

www.jwtransmissions.co.uk

to make a new prop from scratch for my BEC. Good price and service (IIRC D&F are expensive)

prices anyone?

I'm interested in this too as my bmw item is a 2-piece and will obviuosly cost twice as much to shorten.

I have just had my Yamaha/Sierra propshaft remodelled/rebuilt - £150 inc VAT at the Propshaft Clinic.

ahh excellent, it was distance that was causing the issue tbh. I have to have the rubber coupling on the omega prop changed to a UJ so the thought of shipping my gearbox to and fro and the costs incurred were stressing me out
