prop shaft remanufacture
Good afternoon! Who have you guys used to manufacture b*stard propshafts? I (still speculatively) am interested in getting an omega box attached to a
sierra LSD. I have a pinto prop already which has the correct end to bolt up to the LSD and I should be able to get hold of the complete omega shaft
when i get the gearbox.
Are there companies who would shorten the omega prop and replace the end with the ford flange? What kind of costs am I looking at for this? (Hopefully
less than the £350 I was quoted for a fully adjustable custom made item)

I used
www.jwtransmissions.co.uk
to make a new prop from scratch for my BEC. Good price and service (IIRC D&F are expensive)

prices anyone?
I'm interested in this too as my bmw item is a 2-piece and will obviuosly cost twice as much to shorten.
Had enough of this dictatorship known as LCB. Gone elsewhere, not coming back. Kiss my ass ChrisW.

ahh excellent, it was distance that was causing the issue tbh. I have to have the rubber coupling on the omega prop changed to a UJ so the thought of
shipping my gearbox to and fro and the costs incurred were stressing me out
