Nice steady lap. What revs are you changing at as it sounds like your changing early all the time ?

Thanks for the comments.

The diff i 3.11
Topspeed is about 230 km/t
And the car is very stable.
I change between 10 and 12k rpm.
The driver here could be so much better.
The Ring is not the best track for this car as there is so many high speed places.
But damn.... Ist FUN.

I changed down into 3rd and the engine braked a bit too much.
But its not a problem as the car is very easy to pick up again.

Sorens, how did you mange to get away with filiming it? i thought the use of camera's/video was banned from the ring on tourist days.

The reason I ask is that I am heading out there in Aug for 3 days and would love to take some footage just as a souvenier.

Cheers
Craig

It is banned......
But the Dane is wise in such ways.

I just fabricated a bracket that i easy to hook on a console on the roolbar.
When I enter the track I just stop and attaches the cam. Takes it off again before I come in.

i was there this weekend in my m3, i would be very nervous in my stylus as I havent been there many times, and couldnt even consider driving it there.

Its 400 miles from me and even though cruising revs are very good in the stylus, the M3 wore me out, i must be a light weight. The weekend weather was pretty good really but the saturday morning was carnage with loads of brits crashing. A bike went down in front of me on sunday morning when it was damp. He was fine though.

I saw a couple of 7 shape cars and they looked like they were having fun.
