Grass kart racing?
I have decided to race for a season of grass kart racing.
Problem is i know feck all about the karts!!
I am looking at buying a rolling chassis which has brakes, wheels, seat and steering. I need to find a 250cc geared and air cooled engine? Has to be
from a road bike too.
Trouble is i cant seem to find one?
Anyone else had any experience in karting?
Donated karts parts welcome

When i look on the bay i cant seem to find any 250cc engines. Really need the whole bike as i will be using the other stuff like wiring, exhaust,
airbox etc.

Just looked up Grass Kart Racing on Youtube.
That is the daftest thing ever invented - it's brilliant!
Where's the best place to find out about local clubs/series? There's a place just outside York that does Grasstrack racing, but canlt
seem to find anything on Yahoo searches.

Looks fun, not quite as bonkers at lawnmower racing but pretty close.
