puma Q?
hi just got a ford puma 1.7vct and it makes a tapping sound like the tappets on tick over.
Q:is this a easy job to fix and what is in volved and how much?. anyone know?

cam belt off,cams out,not too bad to do but i would try an oil change with the correct oil and see what happens,thats if the noise is def coming from
them.
im in my own little world...its ok though they know me there

Put an oil flush in, run it and then change the oil first.

Oil flush and proper ford 5w30 normally fixes them.
Zetecs prefer ford oil. Its actually cheaper than most others.
