[Puts extra quid on the lottery tonight]

I've got dozens of fucked ZZR engines, do you think I could bodge a V8 together out of them? Come to think of it I could probably make a V16!

that picture is the Hartley engine, is it just tuned up by Holeshot or is it a new joint project?

Also says 2.8, with the american spelling of litre?

Difficult not to fall in love.

Lovely compact V8, flat plane crank, good power and torque, good value financially too.

Similar to the Powertec Macroblock V8, which has been out long enough to tell us this formula is a good one.

BUT, had a look at the H website. Orgasmatron fired up when I saw the Hayabusa (standard lump) on a billet bottom end. Simply mate to your car's gearbox and off you go. I used to have an Imp and Clan, would've had to have bought one of these units, straight in.

You'll need deep pockets to maintain it as well, the powertec unit needs regular rebuilds, and there not cheap.

Not wanting to be negative..... but £22k for a busa motor!? Must be mad. there's plenty of better engines out there for less than half the cost. Not saying its not pretty or I don't understand why it is good. Just no way near 22k good IMO.

22k for TWO busa motors and a bit of engineering. Its a deal!

Ok, find us a brand new 3.0L normally aspirated engine that gives similar power for a similar weight for less money. Then you can tell us it's too expensive.

I'm not 'slagging' the motor off at all.... I appreciate what it is and what it can do. £22k is a whole load of cash, you know opinions are like bottom holes.

thinking about it... what about a 2ltr 2 stroke. that'd weigh less and make amazing power!
