Buying from EC - Tax?

OK, so I got stung for a lot of Import Duty when I bought a pile of GSXR bits from the States, so a bit wary...

What about the EU - anyone? If I buy, say a nice exhaust from Italy, so I have to give Gordon a chunk of cash when it turns up on the doorstep?

Should be fine, I don't think there's any import duty on EU stuff, and VAT should already be accounted for.

if your not Vat registered then the seller should charge you vat at their country's rate, which in some circumstances is more than uk vat (19% 21% etc)
