Fiesta/ escort = Inner N/s wing behind head lamp or top middle of engine bulkhead.

Auto Mondeo = top middle of engine bulkhead.

Sierra = O/s inner wing.

yes, its easier to find on some than others - its aimed at the flywheel and goes throught the block - some have it on the front and others its on the back

if you can't get at one on the same car as the rest of it then try one with a zetec (same sensor)
oh and try to hang on to a good length of the sheilded cable that its connected with

yes (ebay, trigger-wheels.com) but its normaly no where near as cheap

as an example: I got most of mine from a 1.3 K reg escort (apart from the VR sensor as it didn't want to let go)
I managed to get the whole loom out without cutting any of the bits I needed too (took ages to strip the wires back enough thought....)

I have a few spare Edis parts and think I could sort out what you need if you are really stuck.
