Suppose to be great cars, I went to the factory and was very impressed and they seemed like nice people to deal with(A major+). They seem to do very well on track too. Maybe there's only 50 or so out there as the market for that type of car is quite limited?

I have one which is about 75% built. Aiming on getting it finished by the spring.

There's some good info on the spire club's website, along with a few videos.

www.spireoc.co.uk.

Any questions then please feel free to ask, or anyone is more than welcome to come and have a look at mine if your ever near J13 M1.

Also, have a look at the BDN S3, an example of which is being built by BobM on here.

Check out Bob's build here:
http://www.furybusa.org.uk/
The site also covers Bob racing his current machine - the engineering on the BDN is stunning and Bob is going to put the car through IVA!

"Lightning" took me out for a ride in his Spire a couple of weeks ago and it felt very good. Seems like a good car and it went well with Kwacker 1200cc engine. Worth dropping him a pm for a chat about his!

Evo 6 7 8 or what ever it was they all look the same to me
Mk2 escort. I was way out in front of them, its the overall place that gets me.
There was some seriously good open wheelers there(about 10 of them). This week coming (10th) I have another sprint which is at Farnborough Hants and I am looking forward to that as there is Metro 6R4,Hillclimb westy plus others
Cheers
Brian

Ha! again well done mate, beating single seaters in a Westie must be extremely satisfying, especially as you built her to a budget

Have you looked at skinning the floor and putting on a rear diffuser?

I think now as money allows it will get some under floor mods and a diffusser. Also replacing all the ally panels with carbon etc. The list is endless.

Brian excellent news about your 1st in class and 5th overall.

That Rotary engine making 300bhp sounded a good option mated to an Audi Transaxle in a Spire.

Shame it won't now happen.

Hope you continue to do well. Maybe come along to one of our Spire Owners Club Track Days and give us a run for our money.

Andy SOC.
