e-Bay / PayPal payments
Twice today on trying to make payments I got a message saying " this type of card not accepted "
Don't they take debit cards any more ?

Paypal does have various spending limits that start being ok with a credit card, after a certain time they want bank account details, and before long
they have the DOB's of all your grandparents and you've sold your soul to santa...
Check your account to see if there has been any spending limits imposed. They still take debit cards, my mastercard is still going strong.

Is your paypal account verified? If not it is also more limited.
What they do for verification is to bill you 10 cents with a code that you receive on your receipts that you have to enter into paypal then. This way
they make sure you are the legit owner of the card.

Don't have a PayPal account as such because I don't buy that much and never sell.. I just click on the bit that says " no paypal
account ? " and it says pay through Paypal system as a one off with your credit or debit card but it wouldn't. I just called the selling
shops and they took my debit card payment direct.

I had my bank account and a credit card registered with paypal and always used to change the source of payment to the credit card. I bought some stuff
the other day and noticed that the credit card is now the only source of payment on there so it's saved me one step in the process.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
