Friendly wood worker wanted with a lathe
I have a dining table from circa 1910. Its lasted over 100 years but within 15 minutes of my owning, my daughter has climbed over the cross section
leg struts and now the middle sags.
I need a foot turned on a lathe that matches the other four, that I can use in the centre piece to stop it sagging. I've found finials and pre
made pine furniture feet that are close, but I was hoping someone knew someone or could turn one up on a lathe from a photo and some measurements?
Willing to pay (obviously).
Thanks!
Jon

some old tables have wooden wedges that can be adjusted to tighten everything up. (particularly after they have been moved about)
