YB cosworth engine value
Hi
Does anyone know the going rate for a rebuilt Yb cossy engine? complete with L6 ecu green injectors 3 bar map etc, turbo (new bearings and balanced)
2wd manifold, big intercooler/radiator, basically everything for engine to run (less alternator) this spec should produce approx. 300hp

Sh1t loads.
Passion Ford would tell you better and get it sold just as quick.
I think I read a good head would now fetch well over a grand.

theres none for sale that I can see apart from big BHP ones on ebay which are stoopid money, was just trying to get a realistic value!

The cosworth tax has bumped the prices up big time I'm afraid. Long gone are the days of buying a ropey saffy for 3k. See a complete rust box up
for 11k the other week

Their fetching daft money at the moment
Better investment than the stock market
Not long built one up as a spare for a mate and he says its part of his pension pot

Never had one myself, but the few car shows I've been to I've seen them in all sorts of cars, Ford and others. Some years back somebody
manager to get one into a Peugeot 205 GTI shell, with the 4WD setup IIRC.

You have to manually resize the jpeg to fairly small 65kb rings a bell.
