So I realized today......

... that I am no longer using any of my origional low dollar donor. Not one single piece. So much for the low dollar idea huh? How about you guys?

The good news is I now have pretty well all my powertrain stuff, and most of my suspension stuff. Shouldn't be too long before the car is a roller.
Cheers.

Hmm not much left of my original donor parts either. I've changed the diff, gearbox and now on my 3rd engine configuration. I'm just replacing the Sierra uprights with Capri hubs this week. So the only parts left are the rear brake calipers, drive shafts and the steering column.

Only the pedal box and gearbox left from the original donor.

I'm going for age related plate.
engine, gearbox, axle, steering rack, wheels, brakes, instruments & switchgear from mk2 Mex
Sierra column
Minivan tank, rear lights & front indicators
old westie clamshells
seats & headlights from my 2CV special (and post SVA the Brooklands aeroscreens)
rest homemade
Aiming to keep as near to original 7 ethos as possible - hoping it will look like an old classic rather than a new build. All the ali panels look 10 years old already - where do the scratches come from?
