BMW 325 engine and box

No doubt this has been talked about time and time again, but I caint find on a search
I have an old 325 straight 6 cylinder, with a good running gear.
I was thinking of using this in a kit but not sure what chassis to use or to build one from scratch?
Do we know of the GTS bmw chassis is available or not yet?
Is anyone on here using this engine and box in anything?
Thanks for any help

I'm actually quite interested in this and you're not far away..... is it an old car on the drive that you're looking to turn into a kit or have you got the car (or just the engine and running gear) specifically for a kit car?

I'm not offering to weld up a chassis for you btw but if you want to build your own I might be interested in adapting the Locost plans to fit the BMW bits...... u2u me if you're interested

Edited to say: I'm a degree qualified automotive engineer, professional CAD monkey and I've built several 7s rather than just some bloke who fancies a bit of a go btw

wiesmann has one.

But there's one around here.
I will have a look.

The problem is the height and weight which are high. On the other hand you will have a "cool sound"

By old I guess you mean E30 or E36? Both engines (M20 and M50) are great engines but HEAVY!!!!

Later M50s uses an alloy block so should be a more reasonable weight.
