Stripping MK Silencer

Trying to strip down my MK silencer to repack it, removed the 4 pop rivets holding end section on but it won't budge. made up a peice of tube with an end cap on and clamped it up were the tail pipe was so I could put a piece of tube up silencer body to try and knock off the end cap still no joy, is it likely to be the perforated tube just holding it with a bit of rust

The end cap will come off it just needs a bit of help with a hammer as it is a very tight fit in the silencer body. There may be a bit of corrosion holding it together but it is unlikley to be the perf tube as this is normally a loose fit with the inlet/outlet pipe. Keep at it it will come off in the end.

Well it finally came apart, the plastic wrapping that holds the wadding together had melted and had bonded the perforated part to the top cap B*****d
