SVA PASS
well i passed today
thank F@Łk, that is for sure a weight off the old sholders,
it was absoloutly pissing it down to and from the test, on the way back i lost it twice, just about ended up in a field and head on with a transit
then to top things off my driver side wing bracket snapped off at the weld and slid under the wheel causing it to lock, just aswell i was slowing down
on a straight and lucky i was only a couple of miles from my house
anyway im well chuffed
thanks to everyone who has helped me out on here
and hope to be of help to some fellow builders

Well done Finlay, just to concur with you, both my cycle wing brackets have broken but I fixed them and no real drama's.
Then Sunday say me loose the back end and end up in a hedge at the botom of a ditch
What tyres are you running??

Hopefully not > In Aberdeen the sva guys do the dvla inspection etc as long as you notify them in advance of your date.

DVLA reckoned i would have it this afternoon or at the latest tuesday, so they must be pretty quick, the SVA guy told me that they were struggling for
work up here
yea SVA guy does the builder report in Aberdeen
thats for a new car plate

welldone mate
its a great feeling when all the hard work pays off
im taking my car home (inverness) afterwork tomorrow nyt to put away for the winter, mainly because i cant afford to insure it for another year jus
now.
i wouldnt mind popping round on my way to see the finished article if you dont mind.

yup, she is up for sale, thought about it long and hard, need the space and cash for next winter project,
just wished i had built it sooner so i had more of the summer to drive it
