Im painting some motorbike forks, What is the best pain to use? I have roughened up the original pain by sanding.

Will normal carpaint do or should i use plastikote enamel

I've refurbished quite a few sets of forks and I take it down to the alloy, etch prime and then use alloy wheel paint (e.g. Simoniz 5 Wheel Paint) and lacquer. This gives a very tough, factory-like finish.
