I'm rebuilding a trike for a friend and
Need to replace the fork seals as they are leaking, I have a new set of seals
That came With the trike problem is that we don't know what the forks are from so I don't know what amount of fork oil to put in each
fork
Any suggestions
Post a picture of the fork/wheel/caliper combo and someone may be able to identify them.

I can narrow it down to honda cb but don't know if cb250 or bigger
The 750 to 1000cc Hondas had basically the same forks back in the 80's
If your forks have the anti dive gubbins on the bottom of the LH leg like this
Then the capacities should be:-
Right leg 380cc Left leg 400cc

the best way to set them up is to build them put some oil in with the springs out pump them up and down a few times to remove the air
then compress the forks fully with no springs in then from the top of the fork to the oil level should be between 100mm to 150mm
100mm for hard setting as you go to 150mm makes it a softer action
but some very early forks mid 70s only needed 180-200cc
