granada running gear for sale
Talon Motorsport - 13/11/12 at 09:09 PM

I broke a 2.9 granada scorpio 2 weeks ago with the intention of building up a rolling chassis to sell on but I don't think I've got the space so the parts are now for sale. These are in the same condition as when removed from the car parts included are as per the pic:
Front uprights with usable disks and calipers all move freely
7.5 diff input flange with bolts
Bolt on drive shafts with allen bolts
Rear bearing carriers and hubs with bolts
Rear usable disks with free moving calipers and working hand brake mechs.

I'm looking for £250 for the lot if there is no interest here it's going on ebay if I'm still falling over it in Jan I'll weigh it in.

I have wishbone front hubs to go with this complete with good disks and calipers from the old style Scorpio

Do you have any of the donor wheels that came with it for build wheels?

I don't have donor wheels but I do have 4 off 13 inch diameter 225 alloy split rims to suit the scorpio hubs -

how much were you looking to get for them? I don't get paid till next friday so may need to wait :/

Oh i thought you were two of the same person but your location sound like somewhere in wales? What is the normal courier price for wheel rims?

Also as it was a 2.9 litre originally, would the diff be fine for a smaller engine and 13" wheels?

that diff is most likley a 3.64 ratio

13" wheels could be a bit tight over the brakes which are most likley 260mm front discs and 253mm rear (same size as a sierra XR4 / V6 ), there are a few old threads about 13" wheels over sierra discs

(I've made a few assumptions there so best to ask the OP to confrim)

I'm using the 5 stud granada setup on my build (although mine has a 7" diff) and I'm happy to measure things if need be

the disks and callipers fit just fine in the 13" wheels as you can see in the photo's but it's all up to what the back of the wheel looks like, many have webs that can hit the calliper

so how much were you looking to get for the alloys

Is this still available then?
