I need some rubber edging to go round the body of my kit car, Which is the best, The U channel rubber or the grip type rubber edging?

The u channel is around half the price

The ordinary u type wont stay in place without adhesive, go for the gripped trim

I think the smaller U shaped edging looks neater and used it on the front wings, fixed with super glue. Been there for nearly 6years now and no sign of it coming off.
