Looking at buying a used car around 3 years old not sure what yet, does anyone know of a website i can find out what the car tax will be from make and
model?

Post 2001 it will be based on emmissions wont it

if its around 3 yrs old and in the high bracket...like my tintop...check the first registration date, if i had picked mine up 9 days later (was
registered on the day i picked it up) mine would be now be £400 but instead its £210.
13th march was the cut off date.

And even better the 120 & 150 bhp diesel astras are both £145 a year
I have given myself a rule that i am no longer able to buy a car that i have to pay tax on as i think it will lead to me having to sell some of my cars Even my work vans are going to be classic vehicles.
