I know this is the trackday forum but where do you put non 750 club race stuff. Most trackdayers appreciate a bit of racing eh!
My lad Pete is racing in the Honda Vtec challenge at Donington this weekend. Quallifying Saturday afternoon, and first race bright and early Sunday,
9am! If he survives the first race, the second one is at 4-15. The Vtecs have been amalgamted with the Boss Fords. (Races 8 & 21 on the
timetable)
The meeting is being transmitted live by Motors TV on Sunday afternoon from about 12 I think.. Obviouusly the morning race won't be shown live,
but hopefully they'll record it.

the civic performed well then?
started watching some of the races, not got as far as petes yet.
I watched the highlights last night, and they've chopped a lot out. The Civic appeared quite a lot, but I don't think the commentators
knew who was driving!

i watched it last night. the second race was a good one! hes quite a talented driver, seemed quick through some of the fast corners!
He'd never driven Donington for six years so was a little rusty in race one. We have a data logger in the car, and in race two when he
eventually found the balls to go flat down the Craner curves he was doing 113mph. I think that's quite incredible for a 1.6 hatchback.
An appeal. Has anyone got Sundays Motors TV footage recorded? I've only seen the highlight show, and it was well edited.. cut in half I reckon.
So, next Q, can anyone who has recorded it put the Vtec / Boss Ford race onto some sort of disc?
Don't even know if it's possible with today's magic black boxes.
i've still got it as i still haven't watched it all yet. haven't got a clue about getting it on a disc for you though. will try and
find out if its doable later after i've put my motor in.
its on a sky box if anyone knows how to do it.

Dont let Mrs Bigfoot record Coronation street over it. (Good luck with the motor)
Anyone know if it's possible to transfer sky box recordings onto a disc, dvd or what??
