There's camping the night before, which usually involves beer and burnt frozen stuff thrown on the nearest bbq...

Same day commute from here Biz and I am further away.
You get all the track time you need + some, then get back at 8pm, just phone ahead for a takeaway to be collected on the way back

Mine will not be ready for those this year but something to aim at for next year. Will the event be open for spectators to come and watch, would be
good to come and see whats happening as its not too far?

What one would you recommend, is there a particular LCB one?

Not been to Blyton before and not too far for me.
Are any type of cars allowed or just locost / 7 types?
Just got my new toy last weekend and in the process of booking track days etc for this year
2001 boxster, fairly locost to buy.......probably not locost to run!!

Any car is allowed, so long as it hasn't got open wheels.
I track a 1982 Mercedes 280e, have a look at my signature picture... 😀
Blyton is a good circuit, it's technical enough to be interesting, and has plenty of run off almost everywhere, it's a good place to push
your car a bit.

cheers Frank.
Will consult the diary and be in touch
Plenty of run off sounds good to me. It will more than likely be my first track outing in this car so nice to know I can find the limits safely

Could be interested in booking one of those slots
Good track to push with run off
Will have to look at the Calender of doom and see if it works. If so may resurrect a few friends to make an event of it
Thanks

I'm interested as I had a great time at Blyton on your last one. The problem is that I sustained an injury just before Christmas that's
going to require an operation to repair, and I don't have a date for it yet. I wont go into the gory details, but track days will be out for a
couple of months after the operation due to healing time. Once I know what's happening I'll see if you have any spaces left.
I'm also thinking about raiding the piggy bank for some better track day tyres. Not cheap due to the wheel diameter on the Viento.

Hi Frank, checked the diary and March 18th is looking good.
Cant wait to get out in the porker for its first track day. I have around 4mm of tread left on these tyres so that should just about finish them
off.
Will send a u2u
cheers

Hi all,
March is now down to 12 places, and Iver the last week there has been a lot of interest.
Just wanted to give you a heads up before I post anywhere else.
You can also put your name down for the June and September dates too, if you want.
Cheers Frank.

48 plwces in total, which is about 17 less than most track day companies run at Blyton, so there's never a long wait to get on track.
