Escort indicator pin thingies

Hi Guys,

Just a quick one...
Anyone know what the two sprung brass pins on this indicator unit are for?

Cheers,
Andy

I thought horn conectors as well, is there two copper rings on the inside of your steering wheel?

Could they be airbag connectors?

hmmm... thought as much.
I think i'll just ignore them then, it's a different indicator unit from the ignition housing, mine already has the horn thingies on the wheel and igntion housing.
Maybe i should just get the correct indicator switch unit....!

Is there continuity between them? Is there continuity between them and any of the pins on the rear? If you put 12v through them, where does the smoke come out?

I think they are horn contact, as I replaced one on dads P reg escort about 10 years ago and the horn sounded putting it in.

I have the similar on my MK2 Astra switch gear on my locost, but just one at the top.
