Track Day Insurance?
My car is SORN'd at present and is not insured for road use. I want to use it for a few track days this year which will also give my lad (21yrs)
the chance to drive it, is it obligatory to take out track day insurance, I've just had an online quote of £75 with an excess of £750 for a
single track day.

I think the insurance is always just for you.
if someone hits you, you can't claim on their insurance.
I didn't bother myself, when I did 1 a few years back.

It is about the market rate. Trackday insurance is first person only so is only related to your vehicle and damage to it.
