Did a track day there in my 306 Rallye, and was a bit disappointed. Found the straights too long and my Rallye not fast enough for them, seemed to
just be sat there with foot to floor for ages waiting for the straight to end!

Castle Donington is the name.

Oulton Park is a much nicer track to use imo
Would love to do a day at olton park but it's way to far for me to go as we don't have a trailer.

Was at Donington for the RS owners day last month. Cracking circuit.. check out the high speed van!
Looks awsome , 31st is gp layout with Melbourne loop so not too different.
What sort of speed are you hitting down the straights , only ask as I have a vibration at around 112mph (going to get a new prop fitted over the
winter in case it's the joints wearing, was really surprised when Bailey Morris quoted appx £160 for a new one)

I do run a data logger, and funnily enough I topped out at 112mph. That's with 170bhp, if you've more power you may see higher speeds?
We have just over 220hp, but prob a bit heaver.
Guess how committed you are to the corner before the straight lol.
I should be ok then even if a little lift before hitting the breaks is needed.

Jesus I felt really slow at 120mph on the long straights!!

If that waswith a conventional speedo then could very well be 112 or lower as they are generally 10% out, and a data logger would be gps and a true
figure

it was conventional, but was not 10% out! TBH I've never had a conventional speedo anywhere near 10% out.
Whatever on Donington if your doing 112mph or 120mph you will be a mobile chicane on the straights
