I want to add ventalition to the cockpit from within the top air vent which leads to the engine. simplest way I can think of is a half cup / ball with
one half of that half with a big hole that can be spun round so the open half faces forward so is scooping air into the cockpit, turn it the other way
and air isnt scooped in and will just flow to the engine like normal.
this doesn't have to be a car part, does anyone know of a part that will do this job?
Google 'eyeball vent' should yield you something suitable....
They're called punkah louvers.
Cheers,
Chris

Try Googling "dorade vent". They are used on boats and usually stick out a lot, but I'm sure low profile ones are available too.
Escort roof vents ?

thanks Ken, you sent me on the right path! they look great but sticking a vent inside a vent might be interesting lol
However it has made me find an image of these which can be shut flat.....now just to find a source!!
That look like my Impreza roof vent.
