does anybody know how to remove the rear body panel of the Sylva Phoenix?

If it is anything like the fury, the rear section is fiberglassed to the boot floor which has been riveted to the chassis.
It is then rived to the chassis along the internal rails and across the front of the valence below the windscreen.
I have often thought of removing my rear tub to do some fiberglass repairs but the amount of work involved
deters me.
Once all of the rivets etc have been removed, mine has to be rotated around the rear lowest point so that it
can be slid around the fuel tank lower edge.

I built a Sylva Phoenix some years ago and I do have an album recording the build if it would be of any help to you. The photo shows that the body tub
is in one piece so the rear is not detachable.
As above, normally (and as recommended in the build manual), they're fibreglassed in place, so you'd need to trim away the fibreglass and
any adhesive to remove it, which would make it a big job.
I have seen race Phoenixes with their scuttle and rear body fitted using bonnet pins and/or camloc fittings, to make them quickly removable but
it's unusual.

thank you for your information - I have removed the body panel yesterday.
It has been a lot of work, I had to cut out the boot floor to remove the panel. There were a lot of rivets under the laminated fiberglass - I think
the builder did not plan to take it apart ever.
