New stylus owner signing in
I just though I would let everybody know that I am now the owner of the blue sylva stylus that was for sale on a classic car forum, I've wanted
one for ages but could never find one of the right spec ( zetec engine, 5 speed box, live rear end , in my price range)
The drive home was what can only be called interesting,a 325mile slog up the m4/5/25. My initial thoughts are :-
These cars are not made for motorways
Open top cars are not great fun when it's cold
Driving with the hood up sends you deaf
Toyo 888s are kin noisy
It's going to be brilliant fun when it warms up

Welcome to stylus ownership
Cold weather isn't an issue if you have enough layers on. I've driven my Stylus in all weathers and temperatures...and I don't have
a heater fitted or a roof.
I don't find my R888s too noisy. I had a good 100mile run out this weekend in mine, plenty of fun can be had on the crisp cool days with enough
layers on
Enjoy your new toy

You have to post a picture or it didn't happen.
Welcome.

Agree with most of the points...
More layers and earplugs! But definitely fun!
No idea of 888's noise! All tyres are noisy on motorways!
