My Fisher Fury R1
Hi there,
Thought I would introduce myself. My name is Chris, I live in Maidstone, Kent and this is our Fisher Fury R1
My father and I started building this Fury back in 2012. We completed about 50% of the build and then it became one of those things that you try and
make out you have no time for but the truth was our level of skill couldn't really finish it off
We took the car back to Fury, handed over a painful amount of money and had the pro's finish it off. Barry at Fury has done a fantastic job and
really appreciate his efforts and endless phone calls answering my questions.
We are currently at the Pre IVA check stage and ideally looking for a place to test the car
Here are some pics

+1 Neat silencer cut
Also I like the way the exhaust headers pour over the chassis rails, they look fluid.
Enjoy the Batmobile!!
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

We have Sierra callipers which forced us to use spacers to get the RS2000 wheels fitted. This left us with protruding wheels from the body work
I stumbled across a JDM/VW forum where a trader sells them. For the life of me I cant remember that site now..

What is the heat reflection material you have on the body underside?
My Fury had what appeared to be tinfoil stuck under there, which I've replaced with proper aluminium tape, but I'd like something a bit
neater looking if possible.

Good luck with the IVA. It's not as bad as you imagine and worst case you come away with a definitive list of jobs to do.
Don't think Westgate are on here but Google Westgate Composites.

Not sure if he's on here but here's his website

Great bloke to deal with.
Keep an eye on the rear diff mounts by the way, mine needed additional strength added, had to weld braces in as the little ears the drop down to pick
it up were cracking. This was on a solid mounted freelander diff.

Unfortunately it went destroyed a couple of years ago in Italy. It was then rebuilt with new left hand drive chassis, high screen with doors
version.
