Unusual "clubman" rear for the striker
Never seen one before. It's like the more modern Westfield rear.

Anyone in here?

Almost look like a star/leader rear end grafted on. Very 80s.

I remember seeing pictures of the rare clubman body before. It was an attempt by JP to improve the aero.
From the description they were rare...
"...Unique 'clubman' body style, there are really not very many of these body styles still left, only 9 were originally produced in
1985..."

Indeed, but that one doesn't look quite right to me.
This is the early Sylva Striker Clubman:
..compared to the car in the ad:
Different scuttle, different cockpit coaming, flared rear arches, different rear treatment.
If it's based on the original Sylva Clubman rear bodyshell, then it's been heavily modified.

As mentioned above (I forgot I had seen the Clubman before), this is from a PS thread talking about the Tiger Aviator

Yes maybe it was a JP Clubman that got badly damaged and then a standard body was modified but not matching the original. I'm assuming
replacements would be hard to come by if there were only 9 made.

Just realised that one is local to me (or at least is was in 2018 when it came along to the Combe spring action day and parked up with Kitnet) so
I've seen it in the flesh and chatted to the owner. As I recall it looked fantastic in the flesh and was really nicely put together.
