Kitcar shows 2023

HI All,
Some of you may know Stoneleigh is no more! Not surprising really considering the way the site and event has been going the last few years!
The good news is:-
The National Kit Car Show is now happening June 3rd and 4th, but at Three Counties Showground, Malvern! Means another half hour of travel for me, but also means Kit Car Drivers are free again! I'll attach 2 flyers but if you coyuld let me know if you plan to attend I'll apply for a suitably sized pitch.
Secondly, the Newark Show is also happening, on the 22/23rd July. JPSC's attendance is currently undecided but Happy to book a pitch if anyone is going, and would be nice to have JPSC presence!
Many thanks
Edward.
PS. I can't work out to attach flyers! Email me if you want one!

Good news the show is still on, albeit moved. Thanks for posting.

You could take a pic of the flier, put it in your photo galllery and link to that. Then post a website link when it appears on the show ground’s events webpage.

Cheers
Mike

Didn't know Stoneleigh was dead. That's a shame... We'll have to find a new curry house in Malvern 🤣

Think I'll be free that weekend butawait confirmation

Malvern for me Edd very interested subject to MOT which I’m told will not be a problem, will get some miles on the new engine early this year.
Considering Newark as well but haven’t even started on the Fury restoration as yet so would pitch up in the Hood but probably only 1 day.

Great stuff, thanks for the heads up. Malvern is good for me, it's an extra 9 miles but all M5 rather than having to do the A roads. I'm also very tempted by Newark, mainly because there's a better chance of the weather being good later in the year.

Stoneleigh was frustrating and depressing, mainly because of the HS2 work. It was a constant reminder of what is being carved up just so I can pay a fortune to shave off ten minutes journey time to London.

I’m aiming to come to Malvern on the Sunday.

I’d like to park on JPSC patch, but am going to a wedding on the Saturday, so might get there a bit later in the day on Sunday!

I also fancy a Kit Car show in 2023.

Years and years since I went (Stonleigh around 2003/4 IIRC). Mainly went to collect my MK Indy bodywork from MK as it was better than driving all the way to MK.

First time in ages I've actually had a working kit car! Though I did start to store fire wood in it this morning...

Dear Members,

Another very rare email from me, Edd, your JPSC Chair!

This is basically a very brief update about shows and a cry for help!

1. National Kit Car Show. June 3rd/4th 2023 – Malvern Showground

See attached PDF’s (email only) for location details and where the JPSC stand will be.
Most of you will be aware that this has now left Stoneleigh after more years than I can remember!
However, due to proximity of the date to the annual trip to the Le Mans 24 hours, I am unable to attend or support this new venue at a new date!
I would like the JPSC to have a presence there, but it will need help from you guys! I have all the Kit/Gazebo here. I am happy to try and get some/all (???) of the kit to someone who is planning to attend and happy to set up as much or as little as they are comfortable with!
Please please reply/email to edd@jpsc.org.uk if you think you can help, even if you think it’s just a tiny part! Even if it means I courier a flag to you to display!!

2. Newark Kit car Show. Newark showground. 22nd/23rd July 2023.

Currently I am planning to be at this show with full kit and Saturday night BBQ.

Trust you are all well.
Many thanks
Edward Berresford
JOSC Chairman.

PS. If you no longer wish to be a member of the JPSC, please reply to this message. Edd.

Edd due to some health issues at the moment I won’t be camping, I am planning to turn up as my daughter lives closer to Malvern that I do so can stay with her cutting my journey time in half

My plan at the moment is to go to Malvern. It's not set in stone snd I'll be going in the Fury so won't be able to take club kit other than a flag/banner.

HI Adi,
If no-one else steps up I'll get 1 flag/pole couriered.
Will you be at Newark, or in the Alps?
Edd
